The clouds part, beam of light shines down, and a harp is playing in the background is exactly what I experienced the first time I tried a black IPA. At 3 Pints Brewery in Plainfield, IN my friend Nate and I about lost our shit with this beer. Because, of such a great experience with this beer I now with out question will order a black IPA almost every time I see it on a menu.
This beer has a great mix between malts and hops. With a heavy taste and not over powering bitterness this is a great beer to try regardless if you like IPAs, porters or even reds. Coming highly recommended a trip to either Plainfield or Martinsville to try this beer will be well worth the drive.
